How to watch your Sling on a Roku TV?

A sling box is an (audio video) AV device which can be connected to your TV desktop or laptop computer, Smartphone, tablet, and more. Even you can control and program your DVD Remote.

  • You can connect the sling box to your TV set-top box, TV, and your home networks.

  • After it all setup, you need to connect your internet connection to watch your TV anywhere.

  • Sling has latest versions of the sling player for iPhone and sling player for Android phones to add a Roku link streamer support to an extent to complete HDTV experience to another TV.

  • In the remote viewer, you can watch in different channels, if sling box is connected to a secondary set up box.

  • Connect the additional TV source or other A/V device to the available Sling box input.

  • Start the Sling Player.

  • Select Properties from the Slingbox menu.

  • Select the Slingbox Configuration tab.

  • Click the Change button within the Audio/Video Setup category.

  • Click Next to go to the Connection to Your Slingbox screen.

  • Select the input to which you connected the new source and then follow the on-screen instructions.

To install sling TV on your Roku:

  • First, you have to sign up for Roku com link account.

  • To start, search option in your Roku TV on the left side of your screen.

  • Next, you have to type in Sling TV in the search bar to locate the app.

IMPORTANT: If you connect an external A/V device, you must also attach the extra emitter from the IR control cable to the front of the device so it can be controlled.

Connecting another A/V device:


  • Sling TV app will appear on the first option on your list.


  • Click on sling TV to continue.
