The author travels to London and sells one of his plays to James Burbage who is a theater owner. At some point in life, the author goes through a situation where he has to leave his wife and children and spend his life in London to pursue the fame and fortune in his career.

The first episode shows the life of Shakespeare with his wife and two children. Each episode of the series is created based on a single play and the real-life experience of William Shakespeare. The sequence of episodes shows the apprenticeship with Christopher Marlowe and the relationship with the Earl of Southampton.
